Log Surveillance Observations

Start an Operation

1. Navigate to Surveillance module
2. Click New Operation
3. Select operation type (Mobile, Static, Technical, Aerial)
4. Enter mission objective
5. Set target (person, location, or vehicle)
6. Add team members
7. Click Start Operation

Log an Observation

1. In the active operation, click Log Entry
2. Select observation type:
   • Movement
   • Contact
   • Activity
   • Vehicle
   • Location Arrival
   • Location Departure
3. Enter timestamp (defaults to now)
4. Describe the observation
5. Set significance (Routine, Notable, Critical)
6. Attach photos/video if available
7. Click Save Entry

Complete the Operation

1. When surveillance ends, click Complete Operation
2. Review all entries
3. Add summary notes
4. Click Finalize

The operation generates a surveillance notes document automatically.
